ATL Seafood was founded in 2020 by Cedricka Stone during a transformative period in her life. After giving birth, she struggled with postpartum depression, and cooking became her escape. During quarantine, she discovered a passion for seafood and entrepreneurship.
Determined not to return to a traditional 9-to-5 job, she hosted a seafood boil for friends, and their excitement sparked an idea. Within a week, she was selling plates across Atlanta. Her love for seafood runs deep—her family roots trace back to New Orleans, a city known for its bold flavors. Growing up, she was surrounded by incredible cooks who inspired her craft.
Born and raised in Atlanta, entrepreneurship runs in her blood. With parents who were business owners, she inherited a strong drive for success. What started as a home-based venture quickly grew into a thriving operation. For three years, she ran ATL Seafood from a shared kitchen—selling plates, catering events, and serving at festivals. Customers traveled from out of state just to experience her food, with many saying, “She has her own flavor.”
Cedricka believes ATL Seafood was her calling. Launched during a time when restaurants were closing, the business flourished purely through faith, perseverance, and passion. Now, entering its fourth year, ATL Seafood has evolved into a manufacturing and distribution company. Expanding beyond individual plates, the company now focuses on wholesale distribution, helping other businesses enhance their menus and scale their success.
